If you’ve ever tried to quit smoking, you know it’s harder than it looks. Fortunately, in Florida you’ve got help. In particular, Tobacco Free Florida and Nova Southeastern University offer six-week classes aimed at getting smokers to quit for good. The six-week course offers preparation and practical help including strategies for staying tobacco-free, learning from and sharing experiences with others, and support. While supplies last, participants also receive free non-prescription nicotine replacement therapy in the form of patches, gum or lozenges.

If you own or manage a business or workplace and want to help employees quit smoking, workplace programs are also offered. These programs can be offered at workplaces by the same professionals who operate the NSU courses.
